The Hades is a ground-attacking aircraft for the Post-Human Coalition.

Area-of-effect bomber, strong versus structures and groups of light units.

Background

The Hades bomber is a design that has, unfortunately, proliferated well beyond the PHC military arsenal and is now commonly utilized by renegades engaging in claim jumping. Armed with the Nova bomb, its violet disassembling nanites make its presence on the battlefield readily apparent. Inaccurate and lacking strong single target damage, but wide area of effect makes deadly against groups of enemies, particular frigates.

Weapon Specs

Nova Bombs

Powerful bombs whose spread pattern is designed to tear apart targets in a wide area.

  • 25 DPS per unit
  • 1200 meters range
  • Area Effect Weapon
  • 20% armor-piercing

Game Usage

  • Hades spawns in squads of 3, making it somewhat more vulnerable to AoE defenses. However, its high speed usually allows retreating early enough to not fly into an unfavorable position.
  • Hades are extremely good vs frigates, even if anti-air is present, due to how clumped they usually are, as well as their low HPs. As long as the bombs can be dropped, Hades can fly back out, avoiding most of the anti air damage.
  • Hades scale poorly into mid-late game due to the presence of anti-air unit as well as upgraded anti air turrets, making investing it them a very questionable choice.
